I must agree with Uptown Adele. The show at the Howlin' Wolf was incredible. I haven't woke up sore from a concert in a long time. This was my first time seeing you guys---it was a great night. Thanks for the fun, thanks for the music and thanks for the "Sorority girl song". Fabulous! |

So. If you happen to be one of the seven people in NOLA who were NOT at the JSDN show and are surfing the site to see what you missed, first resolve to be a better person by going to catch them next weekend at Tip's. Second, kick yourself in the ass for missing such a great show (with special guests! free money! naked girls! ok, 2 out of 3...unless the backstage stories are true). In addition to the usual delicious funksoulbrutha grooves, the testimonial that your mom really IS hot, and the a capella ode to why you don't live on the Westbank, the highlight of the show was the PHAT SAX solos...had to be seen to be believed. So Praise the Lord, Pass the Hat and let Johnny Sketch save your musical soul. Thanks again for such an excellent evening. |
