The first people I thought about when I heard the news was you guys and Adam.Honestly, I can't belive it. My mind refuses to belive it. As you know, the N.O. was my home for a short while and I was so influeced by the culture that I felt this undying need to return as much as possible. And I did. But now, my memories are all I seem to have and believe me, I want to believe the city will recover for the better. I want to believe something posotive will come out of this mess. Only time will tell. Once again I want to thank you guys for gracing me onto your stage all those times and accepting me as a friend and fellow brother in arms.It always meant the world to me and still does. Dotes wholenotejan: Grand Lake witnessed the love, care, and energy that JSDN bestowed upon our town. Their show was beyond comparable. They amazed the big kids at night and during the day, they brought joy into the hearts of our little ones at school. The kiddos will never forget how the rock stars played with them on the playground. How giving of JSDN to take a moment to have fun--- while their minds were certainly elsewhere, during this tragic time. If you want to help the people of NOLA do ANYTHING you can think of! Think globally, act locally. If you want to help the band, then buy all their CDs. If you already have all 3 of their CDs, then buy them for your friends. Where else can you buy B-day presents, stocking stuffers, thank you gifts, for under 20 bucks?!! Next thang you know, you'll have to have a JSDN party to figure out which CD is your fav. Dotes wholenotejan: Go to www.9news.com to view video of JSDN on TV GRAND LAKE - A band from New Orleans that hit the road just before Katrina hit their city, was raising spirits and money Monday night at a small town venue. Six members of the band Dirty Johnny and the Dirty Notes have lost their homes.  But they say, their loved ones are alright and they are lucky to have a job that they can take with them.The band rocked the house Monday night at the Grand Champion Sports Bar.  The town turned the show into a hurricane benefit.  "The community has come around to support us," said Brenda Freeman, one of the organizers.  The band says the music has helped them cope over the past week, and some of the songs they play have come to mean so much more.  Lead singer Marc Paradis says some time ago, he wrote a song for his brother called "Everyone has trouble."  He says this song has now become their battle cry -- for survival and for the
